The God of All Times and All Circumstances (1 Kings 20:28)

Once the king of Israel Ahab was motivated by God to fight against the Syrian king Ben-hadad, who was gathered with thirty-two other kings on the outskirts of Samaria.

God said to King Ahab: 1 Kings 20:13 Meanwhile a prophet came to Ahab king of Israel and announced, This is what the Lord says: Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and then you will know that I am the Lord.

Then, King Ahab attacked the camp of these kings, where many enemy soldiers were killed, however, the Syrian king Ben-hadad, together with some soldiers, fled to his country.

1 Kings 20:20 and each one struck down his opponent. At that, the Syrians fled, with the Israelites in pursuit. But Ben-Hadad king of Syria escaped on horseback with some of his horsemen. 21 The king of Israel advanced and overpowered the horses and chariots and inflicted heavy losses on the Syrians.

The counselors of the king of Syria then told Ben-hadad that they were defeated because the God of Israel was the God of the hills and that King Ben-hadad should attack Israel again, but now the battle must take place on the plains, for the God of Israel was not the God of the plains either.

1 Kings 20:23 Meanwhile, the officials of the king of Syria advised him, Their gods are gods of the hills. That is why they were too strong for us. But if we fight them on the plains, surely we will be stronger than they.

Then, God told Ahab, king of Israel, that the Syrians would attack the people of Israel again and because they said that the God of Israel was only the God of the hills and not the God of the valleys, they would be defeated again.

1 Kings 20:28 The man of God came up and told the king of Israel, This is what the Lord says: Because the Syrians think the Lord is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the Lord.

As you read, OUR GOD IS NOT THE GOD OF JUST SOME CIRCUMSTANCES OR JUST SOME MOMENTS OR JUST SOME THINGS, OUR GOD IS THE ALMIGHTY GOD, who does not get tired or weary and who has never lost a battle, for He is the Lord of hosts.

Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Our God is a God present in every moment of our lives, in moments of joy and peace and in moments of sadness and struggles, always wanting to give us the best of Him.

Sometimes to achieve his best, we have to go through situations that are not pleasant, but we cannot forget that God's intention will always be to bless us.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

God will never abandon you, in your struggles in the valleys or on the hills, God will always be there, ready, through an attitude or word of faith exercised by you, to defeat your enemy, and your enemy, by the power of God, he will flee from you, desperate, seven ways.

Deuteronomy 28:7 The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

BELIEVE AND REJOY IN IT!

The Lord bless you and keep you.
