Creatures of God or Children of God?  (Genesis 2:7)

When God created man, the Bible says He blew the breath (spirit) of life into Adam's nostrils and from that moment man became a living being.

Genesis 2:7 the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

We know that there is no life without God sending the spirit of life and only God has the authority for that.

Acts 17:25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.

The so-called “gift of life” belongs to God and when a life is conceived and then born from the woman's belly, she becomes a CREATURE (creation) OF GOD, who came into the world with a purpose, whatever it may be.

But, the mere birth of man is not enough for him to become CHILD OF GOD, because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we reach the grace of being reconnected to God, becoming CHILDREN OF GOD, because through Jesus, the death sentence of sin was annihilated, annulled, because the blood of Jesus purifies us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

The death and resurrection of Jesus brought us victory over the curse of death, death being finally defeated and extinguished on the cross.

1 Corinthians 15:55 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?

Romans 3:24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished-- 26 he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

But you must understand that there is a big difference between being a CREATURE OF GOD and being a CHILD OF GOD, because according to the Bible, to be considered children of God we have to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, but remember, not only by words, but by behavior.

John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-- 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

The child of God is free from sin.
God's creature is a slave to sin.

The child of God is entitled to the promises of God's blessings.
God's creature is under the promises of God's curses.

The child of God is entitled to the inheritance of God.
God's creature is deprived of the glory of God and will be cast out of the presence of God.

The child of God will receive eternal life.
God's creature will receive eternal death.

If you still haven't TRULY surrendered your life to Jesus, this is the moment, don't waste any more time, do it now and BECOME A CHILD OF GOD, then you will receive the care of the FATHER, who loves you, who wants to bless you and who wants to participate more and more in your life.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
